Grooming Tips from Rubold

Dog massage

Today already massaging our four-legged friends is not considered to be a luxury, moreover it may be definitely useful for dogs that fight behavioural problems or dogs that are getting prepared for a dog show.

Grooming dogs with sensitive skins

Of course in the case of each dog species it may happen that the skin of a specific dog is more sensitive, however there are species in the case of which skin sensitivity appears more frequently.

Wirehair Fox Terrier

The Foxie may function not only as a family pet, but also as a hunting dog. Its fur consists of hard hair outercoat and soft undercoat. Its base colour is white, which is made more colourful by black and brown patches.

Bathing

Bathing is not the favourite activity of each dog. Moreover, many dogs do definitely hate it, while other dogs love to dabble, but they prefer rivers or lakes, and not a small bathtub.

Spaniel

The most well-known Spaniel species are the English Spaniel and the American Cocker Spaniel, although there are still many species existing in the group of hunting spaniels.

Bichon Bolognese

Its silky, long, soft, slightly wavy hairs closely fits to the body. Due to its length it requires disentanglement, combing at last twice a week.

Spinning

Spinning is a recommended operation in the case of straight long-haired species.

Irish Wolf Hound

The Irish Wolf Hound has stringy hair, and therefore it has to be trimmed.

Chinese Crested Dog

There are some hairs even on the hairless dogs, though not too much. These little mops of hair have to be combed from time to time in order to prevent their knotting.

Poodle

This species has lots of variants not only as regards the colours, but as regards their sizes as well.
